Shipping & Returns

1. SHIPPING
 

Dæmonic Dreams ships orders worldwide*, on a daily basis.  All orders are shipped via Priority DHL Express Couriers, or via Tracked Royal Mail.  Full End-to-End Tracking will be provided for every order.

 

1. 1. SHIPPING PROCESSES:

Royal Mail: Orders are posted twice-weekly (Tuesdays & Thursdays) at our local Royal Mail Despatch Office.

Once orders arrive at their Destination Country, they have to be processed through the Border Force, for taxation purposes (if applicable - please refer to Point 2.), at which point they are then passed onto the Country's own Postal Service for final delivery.

Tracked Delivery does not require a signature, but is barcode-scanned on successful delivery.  Tracking via Royal Mail offer basic options only.

NOTES: Selecting Royal Mail Delivery can currently result in slow delivery times (occasionally up to 6 weeks, in extreme cases, but usually 1-2 weeks for International Shipments, and 3-6 Days Inland UK), due to COVID-related staff absences.

 

DHL Express: Orders are shipped Daily, and processed at our local DHL Facility. based in Leeds.

Electronic Invoices are sent to the destination country, for pre-clearance at Border Force stage.

Once orders arrive at the destination country, DHL continues with the delivery, arranging collection of any required Import Tax or Fees (see Point 2.), and finalising the delivery.

Express Delivery requires a signature upon receipt. Tracking via DHL Express Delivery is live and fully-comprehensive, and customers have the option to choose or change their own delivery dates, change delivery addresses and receive step-by-step delivery updates on the movement of their packages.

Shipping via DHL usually takes 1-2 Days for Inland orders, and 3-4 days for International orders.  

It is our recommended option for speed, security and flexibility of your delivery.

 

1. 2. DESPATCH TIMES:

Books - Despatched within 1-5 working days (please note that we occasionally experience short delays, as we call titles off from our warehouse to fulfill orders).

Metalwork, inc. Booksets - Despatched within 4-7 working days.


1.3. PO BOXES / PARCEL LOCKERS

Please note that DHL cannot deliver to PO Box Addresses or Parcel Lockers.  In the event of an order specifying this requirement, the Customer will receive an email, requesting either an alternative Delivery Address, or a Cancellation & full refund of Order.

 

* We unfortunately no longer ship to Ghana or Nigeria, due to excessive amounts of fraudulent order attempts.


 

2. IMPORT TAXES & CLEARANCE FEES

If you reside outside of the United Kingdom, your country may impose Import Taxes and associated Border Force Handling & Clearance fees - these are the responsibility of the Customer, and any refused/unpaid goods will be destroyed by your country’s Import Border Force, without refund available.


 

3. RETURNS & REFUNDS
 

We offer a full 14 day returns policy.  If you are unhappy with your product please return it to us for a full refund within 14 days.  Please note all items are expected to be in a good, new, saleable condition with all original packaging.  If they are not received at our end in the same as-new condition your return may be rejected.

You will be responsible for the return shipping costs. Items which are returned due to anything other than damage are refunded EXCLUDING the original shipping charge.

Please note that we recommend the use of TRACKED Postage when returning items, as many national Postal Services are experiencing significant delays and losses.  Items which are sent untracked cannot be refunded in the event of loss.

 


 

4. CREDIT PAYMENT TERMS (KLARNA)

ALL MARKETS - In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice
 

SWITZERLAND ONLY - Billpay’s/Klarna’s payment options: In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options and to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna and Billpay. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarna’s (defrit or en versions) and Billpay’s (defrit or en versions) privacy notices.
